Mini Ninjas grants you the prerogative, letting you equip a woven straw hat designed to deflect incoming arrows. Finding yourself on the wrong side of a narrow bridge with archers on the opposite shore, many titles would give you but a single option: a brave but reckless charge. Hack-and-slash games have a tendancy to be quite linear and limiting, disallowing experimentation and choice: not so with Mini Ninjas.
